South Korea once had a military government, protests came about and the government crackdown was bloody. The president Park Chung Hee was finally assassinated, and his daughter, Park Geun-hye lived to become the current president of South Korea under full democracy, Times change for the better when citizens share a common voice.
The civilian protests throughout Turkey have brought forth sovereign issues concerning national media self-censorship, consumer restrictions, autocratic government control and hard-handed presidential power over civilian populations. Peaceful protests flared into a maelstrom of collective civilian opposition sparked by demolition of Taksim Gezi Park leads TURKEY to nationwide opposition and followed by a violent crackdown by Turkish police using tear gas, water cannons and street violence with beatings captured in videos. Time for a real democracy for Turkey. Protect civilians and give them back a common voice - FREEDOM.
It's time to STOP THE VIOLENCE !!
